Who Do We Serve?
Clients Served
The southern Oregon Adolescent Program provides for or acquires those services necessary for the educational, vocational, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the teen girls placed in their care.

This model provides for the 24 hours a day supervison, instruction and nurturing to encourage the necessary changes in the youth lives.

Each youth in the program will have an individualized education and counseling plan developed and frequently reviewed.

The program offers a continuum of educational services ranging from skill training in the independent living and job skills, scocial skills, conflict resolution and probem solving skills, to the academic skills.
The Southern Oregon Adolescent Program currently serves adolescent females from 13 through 18 years of age. The priority population to be served are  adolescents who are Level 7 youth:
runaways, homeless, beyond parental control. These youth no longer receive services through the Services to Children and Families.

The girls typically considered Level 7 youth have histories of some minor law violations, substance abuse, poor school performance, potential gang involvement, some learning disabilities, or have been victims of childhood abuse. Some of the girls exhibit high risk behaviors to become pregnant or receive sexually transmitted diseases.
